We back our kitchens for two years after installation. Plenty of companies advertise a 25-year guarantee, but the small print matters, and if something is going to go wrong with a kitchen it will usually happen in the first year or two. We would rather be honest about that than offer a bigger number that means nothing.

Everyone offers a 25-year guarantee these days, and that sounds great until you read the small print. The truth is, if something's going to go wrong with a kitchen, it will happen in the first year or two. That's just how it works. So when a supplier tells us that they'll back their product for two years, we actually trust that more because they're not hiding behind a number they know they'll never have to honour.
And we'd rather be honest about that than push you something that sounds more impressive that means nothing.
