You bring the brief, we bring the rest
A few words about how you live, what frustrates you about your current kitchen, and what you want to happen in the space. That's enough for us to start.
Our designer then builds it in SketchUp. Not a rough sketch, but a full 3D render of your kitchen in your room, with your colours, your handles and your worktop. So when you see the design, you're seeing your kitchen, not a template that vaguely matches what you asked for.
We refine it as many times as it takes, and we don't quote until you look at it and say: yes, that's exactly right.

Getting the details right
The presentation room is where we take the most detailed brief, and where the last details get finalised. When we show you a plan and the renders, we bring the real samples to the table, because a worktop on a screen can look quite flat.
You can touch them, ask how durable they are and how they stand up to stains, and ask about seeing one in your own light. If family come along to the first meeting, there's room for everyone to give their first impressions.

We never rush the design
Most of our clients have never bought a kitchen before, so they don't really know what they want until they've seen a few versions of it. That's normal.
So we design it, you go home and sleep on it, and we change it. We keep going until you stop finding things you'd want different, and only then do we put a price on it. A couple of extra weeks now is nothing against twenty years of living with it.
Priced once it is right - Step 5 · Our Layer Marney workshop
Made here, fitted by us, backed for two years
Your kitchen is made to order in our own workshop in Layer Marney, and fitted by the same installation team we've worked with for 17 years. No handoffs, and no strangers turning up at your door.
Then we back it for two years. Plenty of companies talk about 25-year guarantees, which sound great until you read the small print. If something is going to go wrong with a kitchen, it shows in the first year or two. We'd rather be honest about that and stand behind it properly.
