In short
There is no price list. Every CEK kitchen is priced from its finished design, so the cost comes down to size and layout, door style, timber and finish, worktops, appliances and storage. We design first, change it as many times as you need, then give you one price for the kitchen you actually want.
Why we price the design, not a brochure
So many people come to us after being rushed into a layout that was priced up before it was even right. Then the layout changes, and so does the number.
We do it the other way round. We design first, tweak it as many times as you need, and give you a price once you're genuinely happy with the design. That way the number you get is the number for the kitchen you actually want.
What changes the price
Every kitchen is different, but the same few things decide the cost:
- Size and layout. How many units, how long the runs are, and whether there's an island.
- Door style. Flat, shaker or true in-frame. In-frame takes the most work to make.
- Timber and finish. Ash, oak, walnut or tulip wood, and whether it's painted.
- Worktops. Quartz, timber or laminate, and how many cut-outs and upstands.
- Appliances. From standard ovens to flex induction hobs and slide-and-hide ovens.
- Storage extras. Pantries, pull-out corner units, drawer inserts and larders.
Come in and we'll show you each of these side by side, so you can see where the money makes a difference and where it doesn't.
Bespoke without the big price tag
A bespoke kitchen doesn't have to mean every single piece is made from scratch. Sometimes it's one or two parts that make the whole kitchen feel like yours.
A canopy sized exactly to the hob or range below it. Special size frames. A house name etched into the front. Put a few made-to-order pieces into the right range and it reads as fully bespoke, without the price tag people assume comes with it.
It isn't cutting corners. It's being smart about where the bespoke bits go.
Getting the in-frame look for less
If you love the in-frame look but much of your run is integrated appliances and a bin, you'd be paying the in-frame premium on doors you barely see. Cladding those units in panels keeps the look consistent all the way through and keeps the cost sensible. More on in-frame and shaker kitchens.
FAQs
Do you give prices online?
No, because every kitchen is designed around a different room. Book a free design consultation and we'll give you a price once the design is right.
Can I have a bespoke kitchen on a tighter budget?
Often, yes. Mixing made-to-order pieces with a range, and choosing panels over true in-frame where it makes sense, keeps the look and lowers the cost.
Does the price include fitting?
We design, make and fit your kitchen, so we'll talk you through everything that's included when we price your design.
