Most people hear bespoke and think it's going to cost more. Honestly, it probably won't. What it actually means is a kitchen tailored to how you live, which is what you'd want from any kitchen.
You'll come in with ideas of your own, usually really good ones. Our job is to build on them and show you the things you might not have considered. Even something as simple as where the bin goes: there's a best place for it, and it's different in every kitchen.
Then it's drawn around your room, made to order by our own team here in Essex, and fitted to the millimetre. That's worth far more than anything you'd walk out of a high street chain with.
"I hate to admit it, but you guys were right on pretty much every point."
- Honest design advice
- Mistakes he'd have made anywhere else, avoided
- A finish he calls second to none
Ash, oak or walnut: choosing your timber
If you want a strong, consistent grain, it's usually ash. If you want something more subtle but still want real timber, oak is probably the one. Maple is smoother again.
Oak is beautiful, but it's a natural product. Some doors come out almost smooth and some have bigger knots, so if you want a consistent look we select doors from batches to match. Ash is more consistent, quicker growing and more sustainable, which is why it's so often the timber in a painted kitchen.
We work in white oak, character oak, ash, tulip wood and walnut, and ash and tulip can be painted any colour you like. Come and see the grains side by side in the showroom.

A kitchen you love.
This is the real kitchen, as we fitted it.
Built to last, inside and out
Every kitchen is made in our own workshop, with solid cabinet backs and joinery cut on our CNC accurate to a thousandth of a millimetre. It's the part you never see, and the part that decides how the kitchen feels in ten years' time.
Handle-less or classic, calm or bold, timber or painted: whatever the style, it's made to fit your room properly rather than squeezed into standard sizes.

Classic or modern. Both made to measure.
Every door is made for your kitchen, in the colour and finish you choose.

A frame around every door.
The classic look, at home in a cottage or a new extension. Painted any colour you like, with the knobs or handles you choose.

Clean lines, nothing on show.
No handles on the doors, for a calm, modern kitchen that reads like furniture. See it for real in the showroom.
Love the in frame look? Ask us in the showroom. We'll show you how to get it, and where it is worth paying for. In-frame and shaker explained.
A kitchen designed around how you live
If you've been to one of the big kitchen chains and walked out feeling they didn't really listen, you're not imagining it. We don't give you a quote on day one.
We sit down and find out how you actually live: where the kids sit, where the coffee machine goes, how your mornings work. Then we design around that, with the same person from your first visit all the way to the finished kitchen.
We also back every kitchen for two years after it's fitted, because a kitchen has to earn its keep long after the photos are taken.
"He managed to put a pantry in that we didn't even think we could ever have."
- Recommended by a friend, popped in without an appointment
- Designed around how they live
- A pantry they can actually get to
