In short
Slide and Hide is an oven we use and get asked for all the time, partly because of the Great British Bake Off. There are many different models, so there is one for almost everybody. They work well in compact kitchens, especially with telescopic rails, and let you check a roast or lasagne without leaning over a door.

What is said in the video
As designers, we've known about Slide and Hide for a long time, we use it, it gets requested all the time because of the British Bake Off and things like that, but what people don't realise is how many different models there are in the Slide and Hide and there is kind of a Slide and Hide out there for everybody.
The reason why they're so good is when you're playing about with different heights for access but you can also use them in compact kitchens, which is really good when paired with the telescopic rails. The reason being, if you're cooking a roast or a lasagna you can really get in there to check and transport things across rather than having to lean over a door, particularly good for short people.
So you can just transfer from one space to the other.
