In short
Most people plan a kitchen around how it looks and leave the appliances until last. It's worth flipping that order, and trying them first.
Flex induction or standard induction?
Most people think induction just means induction: fast, easy, done. But there's a big difference between a standard hob and the bigger ones, and it's all about power.
A standard hob at 7.4kW is good. Get up to 11kW and you're cooking in a different way, especially for a big household or if you like a griddle. We have one running in the showroom so you can feel the difference. Come in and have a go.
The slide-and-hide oven
It's been requested all the time since it appeared on the Great British Bake Off. What people don't realise is how many different models there are, and that there's one out there for almost everybody.
Paired with telescopic rails, you can get right in to check a roast or a lasagne instead of leaning over a hot door. It's particularly good if you're not tall, and it works in compact kitchens too.
Is a warming drawer worth it?
Most people assume a warming drawer is just for plates and coffee cups. It does that, but you can also keep a lasagne warm until everyone sits down, or cook in it.
It comes in 2 sizes and sits neatly under a coffee machine or microwave, so it takes up no extra space. Come and see one in the showroom.
Is the pasta arm actually sturdy?
It's all over Instagram and it started as a bit of an American thing. The question we get asked most is whether it's flimsy.
We have one fitted in the showroom, so you don't have to take anyone's word for it. Give it a swing and feel how solid it is.
